Andy Hsiung

Andy Hsiung has extensive work experience in various roles. Andy started their career as a Floor Supervisor at White Spot Triple O's from February 2008 to August 2009. Andy then worked as a Freelance Web Developer from February 2009 to March 2012 before joining Intelli Design and Technology as a Web Programmer in May 2009. At Intelli Design and Technology, they worked on web development projects using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and various frameworks such as Codeigniter, WordPress, and Mootools.

In March 2012, they became a Lead Engineer at Procurify, where they led a team of engineers and worked on different projects until August 2016. After that, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager at Procurify from August 2016 to November 2019. As a Product Manager, they were responsible for managing and overseeing product development and delivery.

Following their role as a Product Manager, Andy Hsiung worked as a Back End Software Engineer at Procurify from November 2019 until the present. In this role, they contributed to the development of the accounts payable product area and worked on reliable and scalable scheduling using Temporal/Cadence workflow orchestrator. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineering Team Lead at Procurify, leading a team of 7-8 engineers.

Andy Hsiung completed their high school education at London Secondary from 2002 to 2007. Following that, they attended The University of British Columbia from 2007 to 2012, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. In April 2017, Andy obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.
