Kevin McDonald

Kevin McDonald is a highly experienced professional in the field of clinical engineering and medical education, currently serving as the Director of Field Clinical Engineering at Procyrion since October 2022. Previously held roles include Senior Program Manager and Sales and Clinical Education Manager at Abbott, where responsibilities encompassed managing education programs for the Heart Failure division and developing Pediatric Surgical training initiatives. Prior to that, Kevin was a Senior Clinical Specialist at CardioFocus, providing clinical support for catheter-based technologies, and held several roles at Thoratec, including Senior Clinical Consultant and Clinical Manager, developing training programs and providing expert clinical support for Mechanical Circulatory Support devices. Kevin began a career in nursing at Johns Hopkins Hospital, providing post-operative care for complex cardiothoracic patients. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing from Penn State University in 2000.
