Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith has worked for seven different companies since 1999. Brandon began their career at Best Buy as a Computer Sales Specialist in 1999. In 2002, they worked as a First Year Experience Resident Assistant for Clemson University. From 2003 to 2008, Smith held various roles at Clemson University, such as Assistant Director of Technology for University Housing, Resident Director for Science and Engineering, Assistant Coordinator for Summer Programs, Senior Hall Manager for Summer Programs, and Area Assistant for First Year Experience. In 2008, they joined BlueWave Computing as an Operations Manager, Senior Managing Engineer/Team Leader, and Network Engineer. From 2016 to 2020, Smith worked at Onepath LLC as Senior Director, Product Management, Director, Service Delivery, and Sr. Operations Manager. In 2020, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Proda Technology and Senior Director, Technology at ProviDyn, Inc.

Brandon Smith obtained a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Clemson University between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Clemson University between 2001 and 2005. Brandon also holds certifications from Cisco and Microsoft, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
