Mike Hole has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Mike started their career as an IT Manager at Hills Transport (Cardiff) Ltd in 1980 and worked there until 1986. Mike then moved on to GMAC, where they served as a Software Manager from 2001 to 2005, leading a team responsible for project implementation.
In 2005, Mike joined Prestige Acceptance Ltd as an IT Manager, where they took control of IT operations and maximized the company's use of technology until 2007.
From 2008 to 2011, Mike worked at Sequence Collective Ltd as a Senior Developer/Architect and Spare time evangelist. During their time there, they helped strengthen the partnership between Sequence and Microsoft and contributed to the creation of the Pathfinder showcase application for the Windows Phone launch.
Mike then joined The Technology Crowd in 2011 as a Solutions Architect, responsible for completing and maintaining bespoke systems for various customers. Mike worked on a wide range of solutions, including cloud, desktop, mobile, and IoT applications.
In 2013, Mike became a Nokia Developer Champion and held the title until 2014. Mike also ran the diff.NET user group in Cardiff, where they facilitated discussions and knowledge sharing among .NET framework enthusiasts.
Most recently, Mike joined Prodigi Group in 2018 as a Senior Developer, utilizing their skills and expertise to contribute to the company's projects.
Mike Hole attended the University of South Wales from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BSC (hons) degree in Software Engineering. Mike also attended Stanwell Comprehensive, although it is not specified when they attended or if they obtained any degree or field of study from there.
In addition to their formal education, Mike obtained certifications in Pro: Designing and Developing Windows Phone 7 Applications from Microsoft in July 2011, and Web Site .NET Developer Certification for Sitecore CMS 6.2 in March 2009.
