Connor Galen

Connor Galen has a wealth of experience in the engineering and sourcing fields. In 2022, they began working as a Project Manager for Production Control Units. In 2021, they joined ITW Food Equipment Group as a Sourcing Engineer, where they served as a liaison between the engineering and sourcing teams, and communicated and visited suppliers within the US. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at BWI GROUP as a Sourcing Commodity Buyer, managing 70 suppliers with over $40 million annual spend, and presenting over $2 million in savings within the first year and a half. Connor was also a Product Development Engineer, working as a pump team leader in North America and executing validation and testing of pump components. In 2016, they worked at VGC Chromatography as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer, creating training materials and conducting labor time studies. In 2015, they worked at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. as an Equipment Service Co-op.

Connor Galen obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from Sinclair Community College from 2012 to 2015. Connor then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from the University of Dayton from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they attended Kettering Fairmont High School from 2008 to 2012. Connor also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
