Socrates Vlassis has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Socrates started their career at Sepura in 2004, working as a Test and Integration Engineer and later as a Product Definition Engineer. In 2006, Socrates joined Sepura as a Sales Support Engineer, expanding sales operations and providing field support engineering services in the APAC region. Socrates then took on the role of Senior Product Definition Engineer from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, Socrates joined Means4 as a Project Manager and later as a Strategic Partnership Manager. Socrates also held a contract role as a Strategic Partnership Manager. From 2012 to 2013, Socrates worked at Sepura as a Test and Interoperability Engineer. Socrates then joined National Wireless as a Pre-Sales/Systems Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Socrates worked as a Consultant at TETRA Coverage from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at Proemion as a Technical Support Manager for the APAC region.

Socrates Vlassis completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent, attending from 1999 to 2002. Socrates then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Embedded Systems and Robotics at the University of Essex, from 2002 to 2003.

In 2009 to 2010, Socrates Vlassis studied the Korean Language at Sogang University. Aside from their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in software development and management, including "Agile Planning for Software Products," "Client Needs and Software Requirements," "Introduction to Software Product Management," and "Software Processes and Agile Practices" from Coursera Course Certificates. However, the specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
