Gus Eghneim has nearly three decades of experience in the environmental, health, safety, and compliance field. Starting in 1992 at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, they have since held various leadership roles at organizations such as URS Corporation, Enron, Duke Energy Corporation, and Wood. Their most recent role at PROENERGY as the Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer involves leading regulatory compliance, quality assurance, risk management, and sustainability initiatives. Prior to this, their role at EthosEnergy involved overseeing HSSE, ESG, risk management, and compliance on a global scale. Through their career, Gus has demonstrated expertise in driving organizational effectiveness, environmental permitting, and program management.
Gus Eghneim obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1987, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution in 1988. Gus then pursued a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston from 1989 to 1992. Later, they obtained an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the University of Houston from 2000 to 2002. Gus Eghneim is also a Licensed Professional Engineer certified by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
