Kevin Klinger

Kevin Klinger is an accomplished educational professional with extensive experience in school counseling and educational leadership. Current roles include School Counselor and Guidance Counselor at the School District of Lee County since 2016. Previously, Klinger served as Head of Student Support Services at Discovery Day Academy and Professional School Counselor at Fort Myers High School. Awards include back-to-back High School Counselor of the Year titles in the School District of Osceola County. Klinger has a proven track record of implementing innovative processes that enhance student support services, including revolutionizing scheduling systems and establishing the region's first Cambridge International Certification program. Klinger holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from American College of Education, a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Messiah University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania. In addition to educational roles, Klinger has refereed Division I professional soccer across North America since 2011.
