Adam Kavan has extensive experience in the IT field. Adam began their career as a Senior Software Developer at Professional Research Consultants, Inc. in 2005 and was responsible for managing the Asterisk VOIP phone system, programming for the client-facing website, and helping with network design and troubleshooting. Adam then progressed to the role of Associate Director of Networks and Systems, where they oversaw all IT systems at PRC, including disaster recovery planning, cloud infrastructure planning, and researching new hardware and software solutions. After that, they became the Director of Networks and Systems and was in charge of developing a disaster recovery plan, creating an international presence using cloud partners, and implementing an IT Service Management program. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Information Systems at PRC, where they lead the creation and maintenance of data centers, designs and deploys cloud resources in Azure, and manages various IT teams. Before joining PRC, Adam Kavan served as the Head of IT at RedGlaze Group Holdings, where they designed and built IT systems for a multi-company network and handled day-to-day maintenance and ISP contracts.
Adam Kavan attended Millard North High School from 1993 to 1997, where they completed their high school education. Following this, from 1997 to 2002, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
