Program Manager / Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Professional Software Engineering

Thomas Flake has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role at Professional Software Engineering, Inc. (PROSOFT) as a Program Manager and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Spathe Systems from 2020 to 2022 as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Change Agent.

From 2016 to 2021, Thomas served as a Program Lead at NASA, where they developed and managed a successful Private/Public partnership model that has been adopted by several government agencies. Thomas led the creation of a Lean/Six Sigma Management office, managed certification programs, and successfully completed multiple Lean/Six Sigma events. Thomas also managed various projects and a team of systems administrators.

Thomas also has teaching experience, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at DeVry University and ECPI College of Technology in 2011 and 2010, respectively.

In terms of education, Thomas earned an MBA from the College of William and Mary in 2007 with a 3.85 GPA while working full-time and raising four children.

Prior to their MBA, Thomas founded TeliOn, a wireless Internet services provider, where they developed the business plan, designed the wireless network, and acquired customers.
