Rafael Rivera

Rafael Rivera is the CEO and Editor at Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA). Rafael has over 20 years of experience in operations, marketing, human resources, and event planning.

Rivera began their career as the Conference Services Manager at NSHMBA, now Prospanica. Rafael then became the Event Marketing Manager at IBM Smarter Workforce and the Special Events Operations Manager & Senior Account Executive at Rafael'spanic Business Inc.

In 2001, Rivera became the Brand Marketing Manager at LatinWorks. Rafael was then promoted to Director of Operations & Interim Executive Director in 2002. During their time at LatinWorks, Rivera was responsible for marketing, event management, public relations, human resources, membership, operations and administration, technology, and finance and business operations.

In 2008, Rivera joined PIHRA as CEO and Editor. In this role, they are responsible for leading the organization and its members through advocacy, education, and networking.
