Jerome Lim

Jerome Lim has a diverse range of work experience. Jerome started their career as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Singapore from December 2013 to March 2015. After that, they worked as a waiter at The Exchange from June 2015 to March 2016. Following these roles, Jerome joined MENTORICA as an intern from April 2017 to August 2017. Jerome then transitioned to Proficio, where they held several positions, including Junior Security Analyst from June 2018 to January 2019, Security Analyst 1 from January 2019 to June 2019, Security Analyst 2 from June 2019 to January 2020, and Advanced Threat Analyst from January 2020 to September 2021. Currently, Jerome serves as the Lead Threat Analyst at Proficio, starting in September 2021.

Jerome Lim has a diverse education history in cybersecurity and computer science. Jerome obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity & Forensics and Computer Science from Murdoch University, completing their studies from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Specialist Diploma in Cyber Security at Singapore Polytechnic, graduating in 2019. From 2014 to 2017, they earned a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management from the same institution.

Jerome's educational journey began at St Hilda's Secondary School, where they completed their GCE 'O' Levels from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Jerome has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skillset. These include being a Splunk Core Certified User, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (v10) from EC-Council, Organizational Systems Wireless Auditor (OSWA) from ThinkSECURE Pte Ltd, Proxor Grade 3 from Proxor, Organizational Systems Security Analyst (OSSA) from ThinkSECURE Pte Ltd, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, SC-900 - Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
