Anders Fornander has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Anders began their career as a Software Research Engineer at Ericsson in 1984. After that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Oerlikon-Contraves AG from 1985 to 1991.
In 1995, Anders joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Consultant FSI, where they worked until 1998. Anders then joined Bank Sarasin as Vice President IT, managing the bank's IT architecture group and implementing the Rational Unified Process (RUP) for software development.
Anders moved on to Esmertec in 2001, taking up the role of Director QA&T. Anders was responsible for managing all QA&T activities worldwide and leading the QA&T department. Anders also served as a Project Manager and "sponsor" of the eQATor, an automated distributed software testing environment.
From 2004 to 2006, they worked at Greenliff AG as the Managing Director and Partner. In this role, they contributed to the management and operations of the company.
Anders is currently serving as the CEO (R&D Director) at Profidata Lab AG since 2006. In this position, they are responsible for leading the research and development activities of the company.
Anders Fornander began their education at Linköping University, where they pursued a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Technology from 1980 to 1984. Following this, in 1992, they attended Hawaii Pacific University where they focused on English Compositions and Interpersonal Communication. In 1993, Anders continued their education at MIT Sloan School of Management, obtaining a M.Sc. degree in Management of Technology in 1994.
