Fathima Khan

Fathima Khan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Fathima started their career in 2000 as an Actuary Reinsurance at General Cologne Re, where they were responsible for designing and developing risk management solutions for healthcare. In 2001, Fathima worked as an Actuary Pension Funds at TOWERS PERRIN EUROPE LIMITED, focusing on risk assessment in pension plans.

In 2003, they joined AIG Life Ltd as an Actuary Life Insurance, where they played a key role in designing and developing financial products.

In 2006, Fathima joined Hudson Financial Advisors, Inc as a Portfolio Manager, focusing on finance and controlling. Simultaneously, they founded their own company, Profiler GmbH, and served as the Founder and Executive Director. In this role, they provided strategic orientation for core business processes and oversaw various responsibilities including business development, financial management, and coaching.

In 2012, Fathima co-founded Renewssance GmbH and successfully opened a franchise coffee boutique in Frankfurt's financial district. Fathima held responsibilities for financial planning and HR management in this role.

In 2016, they co-founded Glassface GmbH, an app providing location-based services. Fathima was responsible for financial planning, controlling, and business development for the company. The idea of Glassface was awarded funding by ESA BIC in 2017 for further development.

Fathima Khan completed their education in a chronological order. Fathima first attended the University of Cape Town where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Actuarial Science in 1998. Following this, they enrolled in the University of KwaZulu-Natal and earned another Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, also in Actuarial Science, in 2001. Finally, they completed their education at Heriot-Watt University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Financial Mathematics in 2007.
