Peter Pressacco is a seasoned software developer with a robust background in medical technology and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Profound Medical Inc. since August 2017, Peter has enhanced the TULSA-PRO medical device software by adding features and fixing bugs, while also designing a new C# test framework for automated functional testing. As the founder of Blue Dot Brigade, Peter developed the EARS Syntax VS Code Extension for facilitating requirements documentation. Peter also founded the Think Green LinkedIn Group aimed at promoting environmental awareness. Previous roles include Lead Software Developer at Visual Defence and software development positions at VisionWare Solutions Inc., Zerofootprint, Astral Media, Standard Radio, Iceberg Media, and CHUM Television, where Peter contributed to various innovative projects and improvements in software functionality and performance. Peter holds a degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
