Heather Metz, MS, CHC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Heather started their career as a Compliance Auditor at UPMC Insurance Services Division in 2007 and later became a Compliance Coordinator, where they researched and analyzed regulatory requirements. Heather then joined Gateway Health in 2011 as a Compliance Analyst, specializing in appeals. At Aetna, from 2015 to 2016, Heather worked as a Senior Compliance Consultant, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations. From 2016 to 2019, they returned to Gateway Health, serving as a Senior Compliance Analyst and later as the Manager of Government Compliance. Most recently, Heather has been working at ProgenyHealth, LLC since 2020, where they have held the positions of Manager of Compliance and Privacy, Senior Manager of Compliance and Privacy, and currently serves as the Director of Compliance & Quality.
