Jessica Chan has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in 2017 at San Francisco State University in both the Dr. Sally Pasion and Gloria Nusse Laboratories. In 2018, they took on the role of Medical Labeler, Onsite at Google, through Advanced Clinical. The following year, they were promoted to Medical Labeler - Lead I, Onsite at Google via Adecco, where they managed a team of 7 individuals and was responsible for workflow management and tracking key business metrics. In 2020, they were a Project Manager Intern at CLSI California Life Sciences Institute, where they coordinated weekly advisory meetings between Seismic Bio Inc. and industry expert advisors. In 2021, they worked as a Lead Production Specialist at Roche and also as a Summer Intern - Diagnostic Sequencing Operations, where they led the development of a Design Transfer Guidance and drove alignment sessions with senior management in Manufacturing Operations. Currently, Jessica is a Research Associate I at PrognomiQ Inc.
Jessica Chan attended Foothill High School from 2009 to 2013 and graduated with a High School Diploma. Jessica then attended San Francisco State University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Physiology) and a Minor in Chemistry. Jessica is currently attending the University of San Francisco, where they are pursuing a Professional Science Master's in Biotechnology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
