Steve Chase

Steve joins Prognos with over 20 years of financial management experience. He is skilled at directing and improving operational and financial processes with emerging businesses. Steve has successfully led the finance function of three private-equity backed technology companies from growth stage through sale by public company strategic acquirers. Steve gained considerable experience in healthcare as VP, Finance with Medsite, and with WebMD subsequent to WebMD’s acquisition of Medsite. Prior to Prognos, Steve was Corporate Controller of Oberon Media, a publisher of casual games and the leading multi-platform worldwide distributor of casual games. Steve also served as Corporate Controller of Fortent, a financial services software provider acquired by NICE Actimize. Prior to his corporate roles, Steve worked for 8 years in both the audit and mergers & acquisition practices with Deloitte, serving a variety of clients and industries. Steve is a licensed CPA and earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech. Away from the office, Steve enjoys running and fitness and spending time with his family.
