Emily Swanson

Emily Swanson is an experienced mathematics educator and academic manager currently serving as the Mathematics Academic Manager at Progress Learning since April 2023. Previously, Swanson worked as a Mathematics Specialist for McGraw Hill and as a Computer Science Content Writer at Westchester Education Services. Swanson has a robust background in teaching high school mathematics and computer science at Los Angeles Unified School District from August 2018 to August 2022, where courses included AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Introduction to Data Science. Swanson's achievements include receiving the Collegeboard Computer Science Female Diversity Award.
