Lena Zammataro

Lena Zammataro is a dedicated early intervention specialist with extensive experience in special education and therapy. Currently employed at Progressive Steps, LLC since August 2018, Lena assists families in fostering developmental skills through tailored play and interaction strategies. Concurrently, Lena has been an Early Intervention ABA Special Education Teacher at Sunny Days since March 2015, helping infants and toddlers reach developmental milestones through environmental adaptations and play. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at John Hill School where Lena implemented ABA strategies, Art Teacher at School Street School focusing on modified instruction, and a Special Educator at Celebrate the Children working with students with special needs. Lena's earlier experience includes serving as an ABA Therapist and a Substitute Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching, a TOSD in Special Education and Teaching, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Teacher Education, all obtained from institutions such as Centenary University and Montclair State University.
