Reed Sturtevant

Reed Sturtevant is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive experience in supporting early-stage technology and scientific startups. Currently serving as General Partner at Engine Ventures since July 2023, Reed Sturtevant also holds the position of Managing Director at Project 11, a pre-seed venture capital fund. As a Founding Member and Trustee of The Awesome Foundation, Reed Sturtevant actively contributes to advancing innovative projects through micro-grants. Additionally, advisory roles with the MIT Sports Lab emphasize a commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in sports and engineering. Previous leadership experience includes General Partner at The Engine, Managing Director at Techstars Boston, and directorship at Microsoft Startup Labs. Reed Sturtevant's academic involvement includes lecturing at MIT Sloan School of Management and Olin College of Engineering, where a focus on entrepreneurship was paramount.
