Jingya Liu

Jingya Liu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Recently, they worked as a Research Engineer at Project Archer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at City College of New York from 2016 to 2022. They also served as an Optimization and Machine Learning Research Intern at Siemens Healthineers from 2021 to 2022, where they worked on a project aimed at improving detection models by estimating high uncertainty cases. Before that, Jingya worked as a Visiting Researcher at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2016, focusing on optimizing emergency evacuating methods and network security. They also worked as an RF System Engineer at Huawei Technologies from 2013 to 2015, operating and programming active injection load-pull systems. Their early work experience includes a role as a Network Administrator at Xi'an Yun Yi Network Information Technology Co. Ltd in 2009, where they were responsible for technical support, network maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Jingya Liu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications in the period from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they also obtained a CCNA certification. Jingya then continued their education at The City College of New York, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2016 to 2021.
