Kirk Jacobs

Kirk Jacobs is a research analyst at Project Blue since February 2022, specializing in critical material commodity reports for molybdenum, iron ore, niobium, and rhenium, while also monitoring data from crude steel and stainless steel producers. Prior to this role, Kirk served as an online sales manager at Wave Innovate from September 2020 to April 2021, and worked as a geology tutor at the University of the Western Cape from February 2016 to October 2019. Kirk's consultancy experience includes a position at Pertamina SA in 2017, advising clients in the motor industry. Academically, Kirk holds a Master of Science in Applied Geology (Petroleum Geoscience) and both a Bachelor of Science Honours and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology, all obtained from the University of the Western Cape.
