Douglas Flores

Douglas Flores is an experienced executive with a strong background in operational leadership and financial management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Project Bread since August 2020, Douglas previously held the same title at GLSEN from October 2005 to March 2019, where oversight included financial, human, and volunteer resources for an $8 million organization. Prior experience includes Chief Operating Officer roles at PAX and the American Heart Association, Texas Affiliate, where Douglas focused on diversity initiatives and community health programs. Douglas began their career as a Peace Corps volunteer specializing in small business development in Latin America. Educational credentials include an MBA in Global Business Marketing from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BBA in Business Marketing Research from The University of Texas at Arlington.
