Hemesh Patel

Global Health Volunteer at Project HOPE

Hemesh Patel has over a decade of experience as a Family Physician, Urgent Care Physician, Digital Doctor, and Obesity Medicine Specialist at Kaiser Permanente. In addition to clinical practice, Patel serves on the Osteopathic Medical Board as a Board Member and Expert Medical Reviewer, and as a Fellow with both the Federation of State Medical Boards and the American Association of Osteopathic Examiners. Patel holds a position on the Accreditation Review Committee with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and contributes as a Volunteer Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCI Health. As a Global Health Volunteer for Project HOPE, Patel acts as an Emergency Roster Physician for disaster relief efforts. Previous roles include membership on the City of Huntington Beach Human Relations Task Force and providing support as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line. Hemesh Patel's academic credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences and a Master of Science from Georgetown University, with ongoing studies at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
