Joy Knowles

Joy Knowles serves as the Associate Director of Direct Response and Donor Advancement at Project HOPE since May 2022, following a role as the Direct Response Fundraising Manager. Prior to this, Joy was involved with The Nonprofit Alliance in early 2023 and contributed to the ANA Summer Planning Committee at the Association of National Advertisers in mid-2022. With a decade of experience at Operation Smile, Joy held multiple positions including Senior Manager of Donor Development and played a critical role in executing direct mail and telemarketing strategies to enhance donor engagement and retention. Joy began the professional journey with internships in public relations and marketing while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Liberty University.
