Niranjan Seevaratnam

Niranjan Seevaratnam, D.Eng joined Project HOPE in September of 2017 as Senior Director, Global IT Operations responsible for providing technology vision and leadership for strategic planning, development & delivery of the organization’s IT solutions and services.

Niranjan has over 20 years of global IT experience and has held various senior leadership positions at multinational and mid-size organizations in a variety of sectors (consulting, software, nonprofit, higher education, lottery and retail). He has successfully delivered numerous IT initiatives in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa. Prior to joining Project HOPE, he was responsible for providing CIO consulting services to various nonprofits, associations and foundations. He has previously held senior management positions at Virtusa, Aitken Spence GTECH and Oracle.

Niranjan holds a Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management, and a Master of Engineering Management, with a concentration in Software and Information Systems Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Shenandoah University.
