Jerry Vettorel

Jerry Vettorel has extensive work experience in the field of systems administration and cloud services. Jerry worked as a Director of Cloud Services and a Director of Linux Services at Project Hosts, where they managed teams responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting custom cloud environments. Jerry also coordinated builds, updates, and the lifespan of Linux systems. Prior to that, Jerry worked as an Operations Engineer at Project Hosts, where they configured and supported servers and software for numerous customers worldwide. Jerry also worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at Vec Technologies, maintaining a system of servers, PCs, and a LAN/WAN network. Jerry has also held positions as a Computer Systems Specialist at PennTecQ, a Network Manager at Moldex, a Data Center Supervisor at Hamot Medical Center, and a Data Center Supervisor at Magee-Womens Hospital.

Jerry Vettorel attended the Computer Technical Institute from 1981 to 1982, where they studied programming. In addition, they have obtained several certifications later in their career, including becoming a PEMA certified associate EMA coordinator through the PA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION in March 2023. Jerry also earned the AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from AWS in October 2022.
