Sireesha Akula

Sireesha Akula PMP has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Sireesha is currently the VP of Professional Development at the Project Management Institute, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation as an Engineering Manager and OEM Program Manager from September 2015 to the present. Sireesha has also been involved in leadership positions in professional organizations such as the Columbia River Section SWE and the Society of Women Engineers. Sireesha has a strong background in engineering, having worked as a Component Design Engineer and Graduate Technical Intern at Intel Corporation from 2005 to 2014. Sireesha also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Kelly Engineering Resources in 2004.

Sireesha Akula PMP holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Portland State University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras. In addition to their academic qualifications, Sireesha Akula has obtained additional certifications, including the Inclusive Leaders Alumni from Intel Corporation in August 2022 and the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2013.
