John Gorman

John Gorman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the mining and resources sectors. Currently serving as Regional Manager for Northern Australia at Project Portfolio Management since July 2018, John focuses on customer engagement and project delivery. Previously, John held senior management roles at South32, overseeing a $300M infrastructure upgrade and significant organizational changes. John's career also includes various operational and engineering positions at BHP Billiton and BlueScope, where John led teams to enhance operational performance and maintenance strategies. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wollongong and has completed several professional development programs, including a Fundamentals of Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
