Rebecca Ward

Rebecca Ward has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as the Principal of Ward Small Business Consulting in 2015. In this position, they specialized in small business set-up, accounting, budgeting, legal contracts, and taxes, working with both small divisions of large corporations and emerging start-ups.

Before that, they worked as the Director of Finance and Business Development, Entertainment at Autodesk from 1996 to 1999, where they played a key role in strategic planning, investment analyses, and negotiations with software developers.

Prior to their work at Autodesk, Rebecca served as the Controller at Turner (formerly Turner Broadcasting System, Inc) from 1995 to 1996. In this position, they led finance, accounting, and information systems for the video distributions of multiple production companies.

Rebecca's career began at The Walt Disney Company in 1990, where they held the role of Manager of Finance. Rebecca supervised financial analysts, managed strategic planning and acquisitions, and played a vital role in the establishment and maintenance of a publishing business.

Their earliest experience in the field was as a Supervisory Senior in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Ernst & Young from 1987 to 1990. In this role, they performed audits and consulting engagements for small and emerging businesses.

Throughout their career, Rebecca has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, strategic planning, project management, and business development, with a strong focus on supporting and guiding small businesses.

Rebecca Ward attended Northern Illinois University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. From 2017 to 2018, they also studied at UC San Diego, although specific degree and field of study information is not available.
