Mike Garelick, Ph.D. has worked in the patent field since 2014. Mike began their career at Cooley LLP as a Patent Agent, specializing in patent matters pertaining to biotechnology, and working on projects in fields such as cell biology, stem cell technology, and immunology. In 2016, they moved to Morrison & Foerster LLP, where they also worked as a Patent Agent and specialized in patent matters pertaining to life sciences and biotechnology. In 2018, they joined Prolacta Bioscience as Director, Patents and Patent Agent.
Mike Garelick, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and Biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1997 to 2001. Mike then went on to pursue their Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Behavior at the University of Washington, which they completed in 2009.
