Sanil P has worked in a variety of roles in the finance and hospitality industries. In 2008, they began their career as a Food & Beverage Manager at Hotel Monteleone, where they were responsible for the operations of the evening restaurant, Carousel bar and room service, as well as financial and operational cost control. In 2009, they became a Restaurant General Manager at Yum! Brands, where they were responsible for the profit & loss of the restaurant and the Balance Score Card (BSC). In 2011, they moved to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Accountant, where they were responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, month-end and year-end closing entries, and posting of activity to the general ledger. In 2014, they became a Financial Analyst at Curry Up Now, where they developed Key Financial metrics along with BSC and the P & L variance analysis, hiring and payroll. In 2016, they moved to NBCUniversal Media, LLC as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they were in charge of partnering effectively with finance and business teams to drive performance more than profit expectations, as well as designing and developing the labor matrices/ projection and OpEx structure. In 2017, they became a Senior Financial Analyst at Global Eagle, where they were responsible for building annual performance decks and presenting the budget along with the annual operating plan for all the global corporate functions. In 2018, they moved to Hot Topic as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they were in charge of monthly sales plan model for Store operations for over 800 stores and web channel, payroll report, variance analysis and weekly review, Shopper Track and other KPI’s. Currently, they are a Finance Manager at Prolacta Bioscience, where they are responsible for the R&D and corporate finance along with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting & month end close, as well as sales forecasting, variance analysis, functional scorecard, P&L & balance sheet reviews, footnotes & recommendations.

Sanil P received a Master's degree in Finance and Investment Banking from Lincoln University in Oakland, CA between 2011 and 2013.
