Stephanie Yang has a diverse work experience. Stephanie began their career in 2008 as a Shift Manager at Tapioca Express before becoming a Conversation Leader at UC San Diego Extension. In 2012, they worked as a Full-time Intern at \u8208\u9280\u30ea\u30fc\u30b9\u682a\u5f0f\u4f1a\u793e\u3000IBJ Leasing Co., Ltd. and a Public Affairs Section/Culture Office Intern at the U.S. Department of State. In this role, they researched topics, edited and published biweekly publications, coordinated events, presented to students, and created surveys. From 2014 to 2017, Stephanie Yang worked as an Accounting Assistant at KCAL Insurance Agency and as an Accounting Clerk and Accounts Payable Clerk at Prolacta Bioscience.
Stephanie Yang completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies - Linguistics, East Asian Studies with a Minor in Japanese Studies at UC San Diego in 2011. Stephanie also participated in a Study Abroad program at International Christian University in 2009, focusing on Japanese, and at Beijing Normal University in 2008, focusing on Chinese Intensive Language Program. Stephanie then went on to obtain a Master of Pacific International Affairs (MPIA) degree at UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) in 2014, with a focus on International Politics and Japan.
