Theresa Schetgen, SPHR has over 15 years of experience in organizational development, leadership development, change management, and HR data storytelling. Theresa began their career in 2006 as an Educational Programs/Event Manager at Osterman Consulting. From there, they moved to Cisco Systems as a Global Sales Onboarding/Event Manager. In 2009, they took on two contract positions at Cisco Systems as a Sr. Program Manager in the Learning & Development Solutions Group/Learner Experience and a Sr. Program Manager in the Global Sales Onboarding/New Hire Field Training. Theresa also worked at United Way Silicon Valley as a Community Impact Programs Coordinator. In 2012, they joined VMware as a Sr. Manager of Global Field & Partner Enablement and a Manager of Global Onboarding. In 2015, they joined EMPLOYERS as a Director of Organizational Development, where they were responsible for launching the Diversity & Inclusion listening series and embedding ERGs and unconscious bias training into the organization. In 2021, they began their current role as a Director of Organizational Development at Prolacta Bioscience.
Theresa Schetgen, SPHR obtained their BA in Political Science from San Jose State University between 1983 and 1988. Theresa has also obtained a number of certifications, including the CLO Accelerator from Chief Learning Officer in 2021, Situational Leadership Training Certification from The Center for Leadership Studies in 2020, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2019, Crucial Conversations Trainer from VitalSmarts in 2019, i4 Neuroleader Practitioner Certification from About my Brain Institute in 2016, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect (2 day training) from Korn Ferry in 2016, AchieveGlobal Leadership and Services Facilitator from MHI Global Leadership & Management (Formerly AchieveGlobal) in 2015, Frankin Covey's 5 Choices Faciltator from FRANKLIN COVEY CO in 2015, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2019. Theresa also completed the Lead Change Effectively program from Dale Carnegie Training.
