Rene Dorantes

Rene Dorantes has extensive experience in IT and system management. From 1992 to 2000, they worked as a System Consultant for Grupo Famsa - Monterrey, where they designed and supported applications and developed sales applications. From 2000 to 2006, they worked as a System Consultant for BeSa Consulting.

In 2006, they joined HEINEKEN MÉXICO as a Systems Coordinator, responsible for designing and supporting systems and managing projects. Rene worked on manufacturing systems, back-office support, and engineering systems.

In 2013, they joined IBM as a Software Architect and worked on the Heineken Project, providing support for SAP and non-SAP applications, with expertise in manufacturing systems.

In 2016, they joined Aceros Lozano S.A. de C.V. as the Systems and IT Projects Chief. Rene was responsible for the IT department, improving IT services, implementing improvement initiatives for ERP and MRP systems, and managing IT projects.

Since 2017, they have been working at PROLAMSA as the IT Manufacturing Intelligence Chief. In this role, they are responsible for manufacturing systems and their integration, as well as SAP ERP systems and tactical production reporting. Rene has also collaborated on automation and data collection projects.

Rene Dorantes has a comprehensive education history in the field of technology. From 1983 to 1989, they attended Centro de Bachillerato Tecnologico Industrial y de Servicios # 164 (CBTis 164) in Cd. Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico. During this time, they pursued a degree in Programming, focusing on IT Systems Analyst and computer Programming (Developer).

Following that, from 1986 to 1989, Dorantes enrolled at Technology Jobs Careers, where they earned a degree as a Professional in Computational Systems Engineering with a specialization in Computational Systems.

Rene'sacademic journey continued at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. Rene obtained a degree in Systems Administrator Engineering, specializing in Systems Administration.
