Rasmus Wengberg

Rasmus Wengberg is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Rektor at Prolympia Umeå since August 2020. Prior to this role, Rasmus held the position of Biträdande rektor at Prolympia from September 2017 to August 2020, focusing on development issues and digitalization in education. Rasmus's career at Prolympia began in 2007 as Förstelärare in SO subjects and IT pedagogy, where Rasmus was part of the school leadership team promoting educational development. Rasmus has also worked as a SO subject teacher at Hagaskolan and was a full-time national badminton player, competing at the highest level with achievements including an EM bronze and participation in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Rasmus holds a Lärarexamen from Umeå University and has engaged in various education-related studies at the same institution.
