Iason Katechis

Iason Katechis is a Junior Machine Learning Researcher at Promaton since May 2022, following an internship in the same role. Prior to this, Iason served as a Data Scientist Intern at WeAreReasonablePeople, focusing on object detection implementations using classical and deep learning techniques. Iason's academic background includes significant research experience as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at TU Delft, where contributions included tutoring, peer-review assistance, and guest lectures in Molecular Biophysics. Additionally, Iason worked as a Technical Assistant at the Max Born Institute, engaging in data analysis and the development of graphical user interfaces. Iason holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Crete, a Master of Science from Freie Universität Berlin, and completed a Data Science Bootcamp at Big Blue Data Academy.
