Ralph Lenssen

Ralph Lenssen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Freelancer Project organizer and coach at Technolab Leiden. Ralph then interned at FOM Institute for Plasma Physics Rijnhuizen in 2011 and ING Nederland in 2012. After that, they worked as a Technical Consultant at UL Transaction Security and as a Developer, Analyst, and Test Coordinator at ING. From 2014 to 2017, Ralph worked as a Senior Business Engineer at Finaps, where they were involved in application development using technologies like Mendix, Java, JavaScript, Phonegap, and Xamarin. Ralph then became a Professional Freelancer at Ralutions, managing the launch of the LifeEar hearing aid product. Following that, Ralph worked as Manager LifeEar and Product Owner at MDHearingAid, where they implemented features and achieved a high completion rate for the personalization process. In 2020, they became a Product Owner at FocusCura, a health technology company, before transitioning to their current role as a Product Manager at Promaton in 2021. In this role, Ralph collaborates with machine learning researchers and engineers to transform innovative technology into valuable business applications.

Ralph Lenssen's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at Leiden University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Physics, which they completed in 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, Ralph continued at Leiden University from 2009 to 2010, focusing on teacher-training in Physics. Ralph then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Physics at Leiden University, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Ralph has obtained several certifications. In November 2013, they received the Foundation certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In June 2015, they obtained the Advanced Developer Certification from Mendix, and in January 2015, they received the General Banking certification from NIBE-SVV, a financial services training provider. Ralph also has certifications in various online courses, including Machine Learning (November 2015) and Functional Programming Principles in Scala (July 2016), both obtained from Coursera Course Certificates. In March 2021, they obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org, and most recently in September 2022, they completed the AI Product Management Specialization course from Coursera.
