Matt Hanson

Matt Hanson is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and quality assurance. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the M.S. in Biotechnology Program at UW-Madison since January 2021, Matt teaches a Masters level course focused on Biotech Quality Control and Validation. With a long-standing tenure at Promega since October 2013, Matt's roles have included Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Control Supervisor, along with previous experience as a Senior Scientist in Quality Assurance. Prior positions include Associate Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Surgery and Assistant Professor at Wittenberg University. Matt began a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University after earning a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
