Jonathan Mayfield

Jonathan Mayfield is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer, Global Instructional Designer, and Education Consultant at Promethean since August 2019. In this role, Jonathan consults for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, providing training to teachers on best practices for utilizing Promethean products and conducting a range of activities from orientation to content creation. Prior to this, Jonathan taught middle school science and social studies at Guilford County Schools from August 2017 to August 2019, where notable contributions included serving as Chemical Hygiene Officer and leading the Instructional Leadership Team. Jonathan's experience also includes a role at Davie County Schools from January 2011 to June 2017 as a middle school teacher, digital teaching and learning lead, and various leadership positions, earning recognition as North Davie Teacher of the Year. Jonathan holds a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond.
