Subra Mallampalli

Subra Mallampalli has a diverse work experience in the technology and information technology industry. Subra started their career as a Lead Software Engineer at Qwest Communications in 2000, where they provided pre-sales and consulting for custom IVR, web, and e-commerce applications. Subra also led software architecture and development efforts on key projects. At SMS.ac, Mallampalli served as a Software Architect from 2006 to 2007. Since joining Prometheus Laboratories Inc. in 2007, they have held various positions including Sr. Manager and Associate Director, where they managed business applications, implemented diagnostic products in the CLIA Lab, supported key applications for the diagnostics line of business, and collaborated with R&D and business leaders on technology initiatives. Subra is currently the Director of Information Technology at Prometheus Laboratories Inc.

Subra Mallampalli has a robust educational background in physics and artificial intelligence. In 1988, they began their studies at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics in 1993. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from the same institution. From 1993 to 1998, Subra continued their academic journey at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in Physics and obtaining a Ph.D. degree. In 2018, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for an executive program focused on Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy.
