Iris Bischoff-Kont

Iris Bischoff-Kont has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and pharmaceutical research. Iris started their career at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz as a Doktorand, where they worked from August 2010 to March 2014. Iris then moved to Goethe-Universität Frankfurt and worked as a Postdoktorand at the Institut für Pharmazeutische Biologie from April 2014 to July 2021. During this time, their research focused on the characterization of natural substances in inflammation, metastasis, and wound healing processes, particularly their effects on leukocyte/cancer cell-endothelial cell interactions and signaling. Following this, they joined VIROTECH Diagnostics as a Product Development Project Manager from July 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as a Product Manager for Cells & Media at PromoCell - Human Centered Science, starting in March 2023.

Iris Bischoff-Kont attended Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Biology, specializing in general biology.
