Anthony Sims Jr. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Anthony began their career in 2007 as a Marketing Director at Southern Honda Powersports, where they managed various marketing efforts and was solely responsible for the southernhonda website. In 2011, they joined Maycreate as a Senior Project Manager, working closely with the Senior Creative Director on tasks such as budget estimates and content strategies. Anthony then became the Brand Manager at Bellhops in 2016, where they played a crucial role in increasing conversions through agile development and producing consumer-facing copy. Anthony joined SIGNiX in 2017 as a Marketing Director, overseeing the editing process for all content and managing the brand content calendar. Anthony also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2005 to 2013 and again in 2017, guiding students in film form understanding and managing course progress. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Marketing at ProNvest, Inc. since 2023. Throughout their career, Anthony has demonstrated expertise in marketing, creative direction, content management, and teaching.
Anthony Sims Jr. earned a BA in English from Austin Peay State University, graduating between 1997 and 1999. Anthony then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film from Ohio University, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. In 2015 and 2016, they attended General Assembly for Full-Stack Web Development. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in 2019, including Email Marketing Certified, Inbound Certified, and Sales Software Certified, all from HubSpot.
