Andrey Dobrikov has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Andrey started their career as a Gameplay Developer at Virtual Heroes, where they worked on a healthcare simulation project. Andrey then moved on to Red Storm Entertainment, where they served as a Simulation/Gameplay Engineer, contributing to the development of Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
Andrey then joined OMGPOP / Zynga as a Senior Game Developer/Software Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing a platform for social games on mobile devices. Andrey later joined TURBO Studios as a Senior Games Engineer and eventually became the Lead Engineer, leading the client team and driving game client architecture and technology standards.
Andrey continued their career at The Topps Company as a Technical Director, overseeing multiple collectible card apps and leading the client engineering team. Andrey also co-founded RVEALR, where they served as the CTO, building tools to connect VR/AR and gaming brands with engagement partners and advertisers.
Andrey then joined The Madison Square Garden Company as a Tech Lead - Interactive, designing and implementing core gameplay systems and providing technical direction for the MSG Ventures Interactive teams. Andrey also volunteered their time at Games for Love, serving as a Team Lead and mentor to empower volunteers in creating games to support children in hospitals and provide healthcare for impoverished kids.
Most recently, Andrey worked at OK Play, where they were the Unity Lead Engineer. OK Play was acquired by Dapper Labs, and Andrey played a key role in developing the interactive storytelling app that empowered kids to create their own stories. Andrey also worked as a Lead Game Engineer at Proof of Play.
Andrey Dobrikov attended North Carolina State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
