Donghoon Shin

Donghoon Shin is an experienced professional in the field of data science and engineering, currently serving as the Lead AI Engineer in the Security Products Group at Proofpoint. Previously, Donghoon held the position of Senior Staff Data Scientist and Tech Lead at Akamai Technologies and worked as a Principal Data Scientist at AT&T Labs, Inc. Additionally, Donghoon served as an Assistant Research Professor at Arizona State University and completed an internship at Intel Corporation. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
