Eric George

Eric George is a seasoned professional in the field of information security and engineering, currently serving as Director of Solution Engineering at Fortra since June 2021. With a long tenure at Fortra's PhishLabs starting in November 2013, Eric has held multiple roles including Sales Engineering Manager, Sales Engineer, Security Operations Manager, Information Security Threat Analyst II - Shift Lead, and Information Security Analyst I. Additionally, Eric holds the position of Technical Chair at the Messaging, Malware, Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) since January 2020, contributing to industry efforts against online threats. Eric's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a Security Emphasis from Western Governors University and an Associate’s Degree in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management from Trident Technical College, where achievements included graduating Summa Cum Laude. Eric also completed the Cisco Networking Academy program at Central Carolina Technical College.
