Gabriel Infante-Lopez

Gabriel Infante-Lopez is a seasoned professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as Senior Director of Machine Learning and previously as Principal Data Scientist at Proofpoint since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Principal Engineer at Wildlife Studios and McAfee, CTO at Winclap, and various engineering positions at Intel Corporation. Gabriel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, and substantial research experience in Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and Big Data at institutions such as CONICET and Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, where Gabriel also held the position of Associate Professor.
