Ofer Israeli

Ofer Israeli is an experienced leader in the cybersecurity field with a notable career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Group Vice President & General Manager for Identity Threat Defense at Proofpoint since December 2022, Ofer has led the business unit following the acquisition of Illusive, which Ofer founded and served as CEO from July 2014 until its acquisition. Ofer is also a member of YPO and an insider at YL Ventures, contributing expertise to enhance opportunities within the Israeli entrepreneurial ecosystem. Previous roles include various leadership positions at Check Point Software Technologies where Ofer directed global development teams and led product releases. Ofer's academic background includes a B.Sc in Computer Science and Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
