Sara Richmond

Sara Richmond has been working in the copywriting and copyediting industry since 2020, when they started their own business, Lessons in Concrete. In this role, they have completed hundreds of projects of varying lengths and content types for clients spanning a variety of industries. In 2021, they began freelance copywriting for Mammoth Creative Co. and Innovative Edge Consulting. In 2022, they took on freelance copywriting roles with Dancecard Ventures, TangoCode Inc, and Banker & Brisebois Marketing. Since 2020, they have also been working as a Content Writer, Copyeditor, and Proofreader for ProofreadNOW.com, Inc. Additionally, in 2020 they began freelance copywriting for Flying Free, an online coaching, education, and support community for domestic violence. Prior to this, from 2011-2017, they were the Boss at School of Life, where they managed child-making and rearing, home management, and was a former homeschool teacher. Sara also worked as an English Second Language Tutor for VIPKid from 2017-2020.

Sara Richmond completed a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Old Dominion University between 2003 and 2007. In 2019, they obtained a TESOL Certificate - Foundational/Advanced from VIPKid. In 2018, they obtained a TESOL Certificate from International Open Academy. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Master's in Recovering from Embarrassment and Unintended Snafus from My Own Mistakes.
